This Victron 185W Mono solar panel is widely used on campervans, motorhomes, caravans, van conversions and marine craft. Boasting outstanding low-light performance, these panels are easy to install and benefits from improved efficiency, lighter weight and more durability when compared to many same-wattage equivalents. An advanced EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) encapsulation system with triple-layer back sheet meets the most stringent safety requirements for high-voltage operation. The sturdy aluminium frame allows easy roof mounting, and these panels come pre-wired with MC4 connectors. Victron panels have a 25-year limited warranty on the power output and performance and have a 5-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship. The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 gathers the energy from your solar panel and stores it in your batteries. Using the latest technology, the SmartSolar maximises the energy harvested from the solar panel, and intelligently charging your battery to increase both efficiency and charge time. With it’s 3-stage charging, the SmartSolar MPPT also maintains the health of your battery, extending it’s life cycle. You can also remotely control and monitor the features of your SmartSolar MPPT by pairing your smart phone or other device via the SmartSolar’s in-built Bluetooth. The Scanstrut horizontal single cable gland provides easy fit cable routing to cut down your installation time and provide an IP68 rated air and watertight seal. The gland is supplied with both pre-drilled and blank inner seals, allowing you to drill your own custom diameter seal for a perfect fit around your cable. The black high impact plastic is hard wearing and UV-stable, designed to be long lasting and reliable for repeat installations. The included black PU40FC sealant is a high quality polyurethane adhesive, which is easy to gun and tool, and has excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. Used primarily in the vehicle trade for sealing seams and joints, this adhesive has a wide range of applications for caravan and motorhome manufacture and installations for sealing and bonding metal constructions and solar panels and brackets. PU40FC can even be used as a joint sealant in concrete floors and walls due to its strength. Also included in this kit is 5M of 6mm² red and black cable to connect your MPPT to your battery, and 5M of 4mm² solar cable to connect the solar panel to your MPPT (if the extra length is needed). One end of the red 6mm² length will have a 20A in-line fuse on the positive cable, this will connect to your battery.
